(An ISO 9001 : 2015 Company)
RANGE : Upto 8000 kVA in 11 KV Class
HT Automatic Voltage Stabilizers are used to obtain stable input voltage regardless of voltage variations received from power companies. Furthermore, these stabilizers keep the transformer and other electrical equipment from becoming overloaded. Wide voltage variation ranges are monitored continuously and under load. Variations of more than 1% of the rated output voltage are detected by a solid state relay. This relay operates on a 230 V, 1 power supply and sends signals to the stabilizer’s motor, which drives the roller mechanism in the direction of the rated output voltage.
Construction & Working :
Helical coils are mounted on a traditional laminated core in HT Automatic Servo Voltage Stabilizers. Carbon rollers are mounted on a fiberglass carrier board and run the length of the coil track. The rollers are linked to the electric output terminals. A number of compensating windings are connected in parallel near the regulating coil and short circuited to reduce the effect of core-flux fringing. It also keeps the regulator’s reactance constant at any position of the rolling contact.
Distribution Transformers are utilized to full capacity. |
Low power losses due to correction of low or high voltage at the initial stage. |
Protection from fluctuations on the H.T side, ensures longer life of distribution transformers. |
For higher ratings, the installation cost is less in comparison to LT Automatic Servo Voltage Stabilizers. |
Multiple Distribution Transformers can be connected to a single unit of H.T Automatic Servo Voltage Stabilizer. |
Economically viable solution for wide voltage fluctuation ranges (eg. 8 KV – 13 KV or 28 KV – 36 KV etc.) and huge capacities like 2500 kVA and above. |
Flexibility of installing anywhere on the feeder line. |
In the event of replacement of the Motor or Motor Shaft, the same can be done easily, without opening the top cover, due to the external fitting of the Motor. |
For any connected load or upto full load, the output voltage of H.T Automatic Servo Voltage Stabilizer remains constant. |
Voltage Correction response time is 20 microseconds. |
Energy saving ranges between 10% to 20%, due to minimum load losses and higher efficiency (above 98%). |
